Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia M2 Aqua, a waterproof version of the Xperia M2 that was launched earlier this year. It has a 4.8-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
It has Sony’s signature OmniBalance design and has IP65/68 waterproof rating and IP65 dustproof rating. Sony has not announced dual SIM or LTE variants of the phone like the Xperia M2.
