Google has updated Voice Search on Android with multi language support. This essentially means that a person who knows more than one language can switch among them when making voice searches without having to change the settings on the app.
Prior to this, users had to change languages if they wished to perform voice searches in different languages. With the latest update, Google Search now lets users speak up to five languages out of more than 50 supported languages and dialect. Google is limiting the switchover to one language per sentence.
“For many people out there, speaking just one language isn’t enough. More than half the world’s population speaks two or more languages—and now Google can keep up. With the Google Search app on Android, you can speak in multiple languages and Google will understand you no matter which one you choose. So you can fire off a search for nearby restaurants in English, then dictate a text to your friend in French.”

In order to use the feature Google Search app needs to be updated with latest version (3.6) and then all they will need to do is go to the Settings> Search & Now -> Voice -> Languages, and select the language. Last month Google added support for 13 new languages for Gmail for feature phones.
