Motorola is gearing up for many product launches on September 4th. Meanwhile, leaks and rumors of its upcoming smartphones are surfacing online. Today, more images of the Moto G successor have been revealed by hellomotoHK.
As per the images it looks like the phone will have a bump in the screen size from 4.5 inch in the original Moto G to 5 inch in the successor. Earlier this month GFX benchmark also showed similar screen size for the phone with 1280x720p HD display. The photos also show front and rear of the phone along with removable plastic back panel. It also looks like the phone will come with dual sim capabilities as it sports two sim card slots and a micro SD expansion slot. Moto G successor aka Moto G2 will have front facing speakers.
Other rumored specs of the phone include a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU; an Adreno 305 GPU; 1GB of RAM; 8MP rear and 2-megapixel front camera and 8/16GB of internal storage.
From the leaked specs it surely looks like Motorola will put more power in the Moto G successor. We will know all the exact details and price of the phone next week at the launch event. Motorola has also scheduled an event in India on September 5th.
