Nvidia unveiled Shield Tablet, the company first Tegra K1 powered tablet as the successor of Tegra Note last month. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet earlier this month, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with ARM Cortex A15 cores clocked at 2.22 GHz and 192-core Kepler GPU. It has a 8-inch (1920×1200 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. We already brought you the benchmarks of the MiPad, another Tegra K1-powered tablet. Quadrant Benchmark
It managed to score 20906 points in the Quadrant benchmark and grabs the fourth spot.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4
It tops the AnTuTu Benchmark 4 by scoring 43165 points.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
It managed to score 1987 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML 5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
It tops the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.
Linpack Single Thread
It tops the Linpack Single Thread benchmark too by clocking around 716.5 MFLOPS.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It managed to clock around 730 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It clocked 59.8 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocked whopping 55.8 fps in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X HD 1.0 (Onscreen)
It clocked around 28.3 fps in the Basemark X HD 1.0 OnScreen benchmark and is way ahead of Tegra Note and MiPad.
Basemark X HD 1.0 (Offscreen)
In the Basemark X HD 1.0 OffScreen benchmark it clocked around 28.8 fps.
Basemark OS II
It scored 1500 points in the Basemark OS II benchmark, slightly better than the MiPad. Looking at the benchmarks, it is clear that the tablet would provide excellent gaming performance. We will be bringing you the gaming performance video on our YouTube channel soon.
