Obi Mobiles launches five new Android smartphones, starts at Rs. 4200

Obi Mobiles launched Octopus S520, the company’s first smartphone back in July, today it has launched five new smartphones. These include, Obi S400, S450, Python S452, S500 and Wolverine S501 that are priced between Rs. 4,200 and Rs. 7,850. Expect the Wolverine S501 that runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), other four smartphones run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

The Obi S400 has a 4-inch WVGA screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz processor, has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage with expansion slot, Dual SIM support, 3G connectivity and a 1500mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 4200.

The Obi S450 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA OGS screen and packs a 1800 mAh battery. Other specifications are similar to the S400. It is priced at Rs. 4,990.

The Obi Python S452 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1GB RAM and a 1400mAh battery. Other specifications are similar to the S400 and the S450. It has LG-like rear buttons and a back cover with leather finish. It is priced at Rs. 5,990.

The Obi S500 5-inch FWVGA screen, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Other specifications are similar to the S450. It has dotted back covers like the Galaxy S5. It is priced at Rs. 5,990.

The Obi Wolverine S501 has a 5-inch FWVGA  IPS screen, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 1GB RAM and a 1500 mAh. Even this has rear buttons and leather-like back cover. Other specifications are similar to the S500. It is priced at 7,850.
