Acer has announced the Iconia One 8 at the IFA 2014, along with new Iconia Tab 10. It has a 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology and anti-fingerprint coating technology, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom TM Z3735G processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has dual cameras and also has a microSD expansion slot.
It comes in 10 colors and the back cover has sophisticated textured pattern for a tactile experience and the silky anti-slip finish for a firm grip. It is just 8.5mm thick and weighs 340 grams. It is small enough to slip into a small bag and be carried everywhere, says Acer.
The Acer Iconia One 8 comes in Jade Green, Sunshine Yellow, Vivid Orange, Sky Blue, Essential White, Midnight Black, Fragrant Pink, Violet Purple, Mia Blue and Garnet Red colors depending on the market. It starts at 149 Euros and would go on sale in EMEA regions starting this October.
