Sony unveiled the ILCE-QX1, its first Interchangeable lens style camera at the IFA earlier this week. The camera supports a range of E-mount lenses and even has a Built-in flash (GN4 in meters at ISO 100) for better low-light photography. We got to check it out at the Sony booth, here is the hands on and the photo gallery.

It has APS-C size Exmor CMOS sensor and the BIONZ X processor has improved area-specific noise reduction. It uses WiFi to connect to your smartphone and has NFC pairing.
It also comes with a lens depending on the market, but the one sold in the U.S. doesn’t come with a lens.
You need to press the button to release the E-mount lens.
It has USB 2.0, microSD card slot and a 1020mAh Sony NP-FW50 rechargeable battery
It supports a range of E-mount lenses, including the Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Alpha E-mount lens that you see in the picture.
It looks definitely huge if you connect the lens and weighs 216 grams for the body alone, but if you compare it to a interchangeable lens camera, this is smaller. It retails for US$399.99 and would ship later this month.
