Dell has announced Latitude 13 7000 laptop that can be transformed to tablet as well. The ultrabook has a 13.3-inch display, backlit keyboard that can be used while working on the tablet.
The lightweight business Ultrabook comes in an Intel Core M or Core M vPro processor option and has up to 512GB of solid-state drive (SSD) space along with 8GB of RAM. The Latitude’s 13.3-inch touchscreen will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and will be backed by an Intel HD Graphics 5300 GPU. It comes with a 2MP front-facing camera and 8MP rear camera and runs on Windows 8.1. Other specs include 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluethooth while an optional LTE connectivity.
It measure 12.6 x 9 x 0.78 inches and weighs 3.76 pounds. With the keyboard attached and the device in laptop mode, the Latitude 13 7000 boasts a full touchpad and backlit keyboard. Users can also connect the device the Dell Mobile Office, which so happens to be a suite of accessories that have been specially designed for this device
The laptop-meets-tablet hybrid approach to mobile seems to be a developing theme at this year’s IFA. The Latitude 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 starts at USD $1,199 and will be available mid-October worldwide
