Acer unveiled the Liquid Z500 at IFA, Berlin 2014 along with the Iconia One 8, Iconia Tab 10 and Iconia W8. It is a relatively affordable Android smartphone that Acer claims to offer ‘CD quality’ experience.

Aimed at music lovers, the phone has 5-inch HD display with 900:1 high contrast, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The brightness and contrast colors are good the scree is quiet reflective.
At the front we can see the Acer logo along with front facing camera along with LED notification.
The micro USB port is situated at the bottom.
At the back the Liquid Z500 has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video capture. The camera comes with Acer’s Bright Magic technology that should improve photos taken in low light conditions. There is round button below the camera which when pressed launches the music player and is dubbed as Acer Rapid.
The left side of the phone has no buttons at all.
The smartphone is 8.65mm-thin and has a 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB.
The volume rocker buttons are situated on the right side.
On the top we have the power button and the 3.5mm audio jack.
The Acer Liquid Z500 comes in Titanium Black, Sandy Silver and Aquamarine Green and would be available in EMEA from September 15 with a starting price of 149 Euros (US$ 196 / Rs. 11,830 approx.).
