WhatsApp Messenger for iPhone gets chat archives, photo captions and more

WhatsApp Messenger had added a slew of feature for iPhone for a better chatting experience. Firstly, the app adds the ability to archive chats and groups. They can be archived by simply swiping horizontally in the chats section and selecting the More and Archive option.

Moving on,the new WhatsApp version 2.11.9 now makes it a lot easier to capture and send photos with a new fast camera access button in the interface. Slow motion videos from iPhone 5s can also be shared in the latest version and also video trimming support is added to the app.

The update further improves location-sharing with the option to choose whether your position is displayed with a satellite or hybrid map. Users can swipe around the map to manually change the location of their pin. WhatsApp users on the iPhone now get more wallpapers and notification ringtones. Here is the complete log of the update.
