Apple took wraps of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus yesterday. In addition, the company also debuted leather and silicon rubber cases for the new iPhones.
The cases are crafted from hand-selected leather that’s been treated with aniline dye, and they feature a microfiber interior to protect the phone and its new protruding lens. The leather cases are available in Black, Olive Brown, Midnight Blue, Soft Pink, and Product (RED). They are almost similar to the ones we saw for the iPhone 5s last year.
Along with the leather cases, Apple also introduced Silicon rubber case that are made to custom fit the new iPhones. The company claims that they offer protection while “maintaining their incredibly slim form.” It fits comfortably around the volume and power buttons, as well as the new curved corners and there is a soft micro fiber lining inside.
Leather cases for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 are priced at $45, while leather cases for the 5.5-inch version are priced at $49. Silicone cases for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 are priced at $35, and 5.5-inch silicone cases are $39. These cases will most likely be available together with the iPhone 6 release on September 19.
