Skype has launched a location sharing feature on Window Phone app. The latest version 2.2 will enable Windows Phone user to share your location with the people in your conversation. In order to send a locations, users will need to tap the plus icon in a chat and select “share location.”
“Location sharing lets you have an even better chat experience on the go. Seeing friends or family and want to tell them where to meet you? Simply use this new feature to send them a Bing map of your location, pinpointing exactly where you are”

Moving on, the update now lets you save photos by simply tapping the more menu option and selecting ‘save photo’. Finally, you can now select “notifications” and choose to turn them on or off for individual conversations.
In April Skype for Windows Phone got Cortana control and in July it received free group calling for Windows 8.1.
