The much anticipated, previously announced IUNI U3 has finally gone on sale in its homeland of China.
If you aren’t aware yet, here’s what the IUNI U3 is all about — designed to be a flagship killer in its own way, the U3 comes with a price tag of just 1999 Yuan in China, that translates to a little over US$320. That makes the device a very affordable high-end phone, because some of the specs that it carries are seen only in phones that cost more than double the amount.
Specifications
- 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440p display
- 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB on-board storage
- 13 mega-pixel rear camera with OIS
- 4 mega-pixel UltraPixel front camera
- 3000mAh battery
- Android v4.4.4 KitKat
- LTE, dual SIM
So as you can see from the specs set, the U3 is on par with the most powerful devices on the planet, but costs only a fraction. IUNI is a sub-brand of well-known OEM from China, Gionee. The U2 that came before the U3 did not have an English language ROM, but the U3 is all set to become the first IUNI phone to support the English language.
If you are looking to get the phone from a reseller, be prepared to pay 20-30% more, though.
