Earlier this week, specs of Samsung SM-A300 were leaked in a benchmark. Today, SM-A500 has paid a visit to China’s TENAA, which is the like the US FCC.
Samsung is preparing three devices – SM-A300, SM-A500 and SM-A700 under the new metal smartphone lineup.The device has been certified in China at the TENAA regulatory and the website has given us images of the phone as well as specs. The Samsung SM-A500 will come with Android 4.4 KitKat, and the handset measures 139.3mm by 69.7mm by 6.7mm and weighs in at 126g.
The TENAA information confirms previous reports that suggested that the SM-A500 will have 5 inch (1280×720) Super AMOLED display. It will be powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. There is 16GB of built-in storage with a microSD card slot (up to 128GB cards are supported). It has a 13MP rear camera while earlier reports had suggested that it will have 8MP. Finally, it will have a 2,330mAh non removable battery.
