Google Now for Android gets Flight Price Monitor card

Google updates its Google Now digital voice assistant with new and improved cards from time to time. Today, the company has added a new card that shows changes in the price of the flights that you are searching on your device.

Google Now flight price

The new Google Now card tracks flight prices based on user searches for destinations. It then alerts the user when a particular flight they are interested in changes its price from lower to higher or vice versa.  The card shows origin or destination of the flight, carrier, price, change in price, class, date and time as well as type of flight.

At present, Google Now shows your flight information for you travel plans. The feature is currently available only on Android and there is no mention of an iOS release. Also, unfortunately, it is currently limited to US residents only and Google did not say when it would expand it globally. The Google Now card at present tracks fares to only Google Flights.

Jet Airways, is the first Indian airline to integrate its flight booking details with Google Now.
