We reported earlier that the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will go on sale in India on October 17 with the pre-orders starting tomorrow. While the availability details were clear, the pricing details were still a mystery.
Today, we get to know how much the brand new iPhones cost in India. The information comes directly from a known reseller who has accurately provided us details in the past. So, you can consider these figures as final retail pricing.
Update: The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus pricing have been officially confirmed by Apple.
The 16GB iPhone 6 model will cost you INR 53,500 (about $870), while the 64GB variant and the 128GB option is priced at INR 62,500 (about $1,015) and INR 71,500 (about $1,160) respectively.
On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus comes to you with a price tag of INR 62,500 (about $1,047) for the basic 16GB variant. If you are looking for more storage space, then you will have to shell out INR 71,500 (about $1,160) and INR 80,500 (about $1,307) for 64GB and 128GB options respectively.
Apple has partnered with Ingram Micro, Redington, Rashi Peripherals and Reliance for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch in India. As we said before, if you are eager to get your hands on the new Apple flagships you can pre-order the device starting from tomorrow. However, the pre-order procedure is still unclear, but we expect the Apple authorized sellers like Imagine and Croma to accept your orders.
