In a bid to make photo sharing easy, Microsoft has unveiled Xim app. Available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone, the app makes it easy for users to share photos across the devices without passing their phones around.
Only the person who is sharing the photos will need to download the Xim app and the receivers can view the photos without downloading the app. Once installed, you can select photos from a variety of sources like your camera roll, Instagram, Facebook or OneDrive. Users can select upto 50 photos and create a Xim which then can be shared with people using either their mobile number or email address.

Another cool feature of the app is that any user participating in the Xim can swipe to the next or previous photo, or even pan and zoom, and everyone else sees their interactions in near real-time. Microsoft said that all the content in Xim expires after a while but did not mention the exact time.
The app is available only in the US on Windows Phone Store and Google Play Store. It is not yet live for iOS.
