HTC unveiled the Desire EYE smartphone with a new Eye experience yesterday. It promised to bring the Eye experience to other HTC smartphones, including the company’s current flagship, HTC One (M8). Now the company has started rolling out the update for the HTC One M8 smartphone. The Eye experience brings Face Tracking, Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, Photo Booth, Crop Me In and more.
The HTC Eye experience provided innovative enhancement for taking photos and making videos.
- Face Tracking – Track up tp 4 faces during a video chat
- Split Capture : Record the action in front of you and yourself at the same time
- Face Fusion: Using 2 photos such as your selfie and a photo of your favorite celebrity, try blending your look together.
- Voice Selfie: Take a picture or video selfie by just saying “cheese” or “action”
- Live makeup: Smoothen your skin before taking your selfie.
The HTC One M8 v3.28.401.6 update is now rolling out in Europe and is about 252.01MB. According to earlier rumors the HTC Butterfly 2 would get the Eye Experience before the Android L update, other smartphones such as One E8, One Mini 2, Desire 816, One M7, One Mini and the One Max would get it with Android L update.
