Following several rumors and leaks, the Nexus 6 is expected to be announced this month, according to a latest report from the Wall Street Journal. The next flagship phone from Google that is codenamed as ‘Shamu’ will have a large 5.9 inch screen.
A 5.9 inch screen will make the Nexus 6 larger than the Apple iPhone 6 Plus that has a 5.5 inch screen and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that sports a 5.7 inch screen. The report said that the handset will supposedly be manufactured by Motorola and will be launched this month according to “three people familiar with the situation”.
Specs of Nexus 6 have been appeared in benchmarks that show the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and have 3GB of RAM. It will likely sport a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 3200+ mAh battery. Finally, the phone will run on Android L. It will be interesting to see how will Google price this device.
