Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 last month with 4.7 inch display in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. The phone will go on sale in India on October 17th where the 16GB iPhone 6 model will cost INR 53,500 (about $870), while the 64GB variant and the 128GB option is priced at INR 62,500 (about $1,015) and INR 71,500 (about $1,160) respectively. The Apple iPhone 6 sports a 4.7 inch screen with 1134 x 750 pixels. It is 7mm thin and weighs 129 grams.
At the front, the phone has a 1.2MP camera.
Also present on the front is the trademark physical home button seen on the iPhones. It also has a built-in fingerprint sensor that was first introduced in the iPhone 5S.
iPhone 6 is made of a full metal finish panel with the stripes running from top and bottom for antennas while the Apple logo is seen in the center.
At the back we have 8 megapixel auto focus iSight camera without Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) but it comes with face detection.
The power button is situated on the right side of the phone along with the nano SIM card slot.
On the left side the phone has volume rockers while the rotation lock switch is seen above them.
The 3.5mm audio jack, lightning port and loudspeakers are located at the bottom.
The sides of the smartphone are a bit curvy, which is quite different from previous four generations. iPhone 6 runs on iOS 8 operating system. The phone has a 1,810mAh battery, which according to the company offers 14 hours of 3G talk time, up to 250 hours of standby and up to 50 hours of music playback.
Apple iPhone 6 is available in Space Grey, Gold and Silver options.
