100,000 Redmi 1S smartphones sell out in 4.2 seconds in Oct 14th sale in India

Xiaomi has sold 100,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones in just 4.2 seconds in today’s (October 14th) sale in India today. September 30th sale took 13.9 seconds. For the festive season Xiaomi offered 1,50,000 Redmi 1S smartphones for the Indian customers on October 6th, which took several hours or more than half a day to sell out.

Totally the company has sold about 4.9 lakh Redmi 1S smartphones in India till today’s sale. The smartphone is still in demand, today’s sale saw over 3 lakh registrations. The company would start registrations for the 21st October sale at 6PM today. As usual, registration is compulsory, even if you had already registered for previous sales.

Xiaomi offered 25,000 Mi 3 smartphones on October 6th as a part of festive offer for those who tried and failed to get the smartphone in earlier sales. It is not clear if it would bring the Mi 3 back again. Xiaomi did not announce when the Redmi Note would go on sale in the country.
