Apple introduced the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3, the next-generation iPad Air models at an event in the U.S few hours back. Apple has also announced the pricing for these models in India. The iPad Air 2 has the same 9.7-inch display but it has a Antireflective glass, powered by A8 chip with 2nd gen 64-bit architecture and M8 motion coprocessor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and is just 6.1mm thick. It also has a new 8 MP iSight 1080p camera. The iPad mini 3 just has a new Touch ID fingerprint sensor and other specs remain the same.
Both the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 come in gold, silver and space grey colors. It is available for order in 29 countries and territories starting, Friday, October 17 and would be available starting later next week in these countries. These iPads would be available in other countries, including India in the coming months.
