ADATA Technology, Taiwan-based company popular for its memory modules and NAND Flash products has launched UC330, the company’s latest Dual USB Drive with dual (micro-USB and a USB 2.0) connectors in India. This comes in 8, 16, 32 and 64GB variant and lets you easily transfer data from compatible smartphones or tablets to PCs and Laptops and vice versa. This competes with OTG USB drives from SanDisk, Kingston and Sony in India.
It weighs just 3.6 grams and comes with a black end cap fitted with a strap hole to carry it in a key chain or neck strap. The cap fits on either side of its dual-headed USB when you use it, when not in use, it can stand up on its end for easy storage. It has a special chip-on-board (COB) process, resulting in high water and impact resistance, says the company.
The body of the drive is made of zinc alloy with a silver finish. It comes with UFDtoGO software that lets you store your Windows setup DVDs on your USB drive, and then install the OS from it as a USB bootable device. It also offers PC-Lock, Data Compression and more.
The ADATA UC330 Dual USB Drive is priced at Rs. 550, Rs. 775 and Rs.1400 for 8GB, 16GB & 32GB memory variants, respectively and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
