One of the most anticipated games of the recent times, Ovi Maps Navigation is now out on the Ovi Store.
Utilizing the actual map data by NAVTEQ and the GPS on your mobiles, Ovi Maps Racing allows users to create a racing track out of their present location, irrespective of whether you are at home or in the office. You can choose any car between the three racing cars present there and navigate using easy touch controls in the game.
The game also comes preloaded with 20 pre-defined tracks with global high scores in well-known European cities – such as Berlin, Amsterdam and London and you have an option of racing in offline mode as well as online. You can customize tracks within the available in-game maps as well.
“We had a chance to create a completely new type of mobile game with Nokia, which utilizes real life maps” says Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx, the company which developed this game. He also added “As with previous titles developed for Nokia, Ovi Maps Racing has really allowed us to augment our knowledge pool.”
Ovi Maps Racing currently supports all the Nokia touch screen devices based on Symbian^1, such as the Nokia N97 mini and the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition and is available for download now.
