Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 went on sale in India recently. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone. Here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and has Adreno 306 GPU. This is one of the first smartphones to launch in India to feature the new budget Snapdragon chip. It has a 1.5GB RAM, 6-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It tops the AnTuTu Benchmark 4 too scoring 21007 points.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
It managed to score 1629 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
It scored 648 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU Subsystem performance test and grabs the second spot, behind the Redmi 1S.
Linpack Single Thread
It clocked around 114.2 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark and grabs the second spot.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It clocked around 263.1 MFLOPS and grabs the second spot in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It managed to clock just 54.1 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It managed to clock 9.8 fps in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It managed to clock around 6.2 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
In the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark, the Mega 2 managed to clock around 2.6 fps and lies behind the LG G3 Beat.
