Motorola launched the new Moto X in India back in September starting at Rs. 31,999. We already brought you the review of the smartphone. Here we have the battery test results for the smartphone.
The new Moto X has a removable 2,300 mAh Lithium Ion battery, which is slightly larger than the 2200 mAh battery on the first Moto X. It is powered by Snapdragon 801 processor with four 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.46 GHz and has Adreno 330 GPU. Let us check out the battery test results.
Talk Time
The 2300mAh battery lasts for 14 hours and 28 minutes in our talk time test, slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
3G browsing
3G browsing is almost similar to the 2nd Gen Moto G. It lasts for 3 hours and 33 minutes.
Wi-Fi browsing
Wi-Fi browsing is the part where the phone struggles. It lasts for just four hours in our test.
Video Playback
Even though the smartphone has a huge 5.2-inch 1080p screen, it lasts for 8 hours and 33 minutes in our video playback test, better than the new Moto G and the Galaxy Alpha.
Our 24 hour charge rating for the Moto X (2014) is 7:48 hours. So the new Moto X can be used for 7 hours and 48 minutes straight before you need to find a power source to charge the battery.
