A long due and much needed update is finally rolling to Instagram’s Android and iPhone apps. Users can now edit photo captions after they are updated which means all your typos can be deleted and a fresh comment can be added instead.
Prior to the update, users were forced to delete images with unwanted captions and post again. The latest update also allows users to edit their photo location. Instagram said that adding the ability to edit captions has been one of the top requested features. In order to edit a caption, tap the menu button […] below a post and select edit. Edited captions will include a note indicating the post was edited when a user views the comments.
Moreover, Instagram now gets a new and updated Explore tab that was recently revamped. The Explore tab now gets a new icon as initially it was a compass and now it has been changed to a magnifying glass. Now when you open the Explore tab you will see two new tabs – Photo and People. The former will still recommend interesting photos for you to check out while the latter will recommend new users you might like.
Instagram says that version 6.10 of its Android app and version 6.2 of its iOS app are now rolling out in their respective app stores.
