AOC, popular for its LED and LCD displays globally, had already revealed its plans to foray into smartphone market and launch new tablets in India. Last week the company appointed Atul Jasra as Business Head for tablets and smartphones in India & other SAARC Countries.
Today the company has confirmed that it would launch their new smartphone in India later this week. It has also launched a Twitter campaign, where people can bring the launch date closer by tweeting with the hashtag #Myaocmobile. The date is currently set for November 15th, and it will be unveiled on the day the countdown ticker crosses the minimum number of mentions on Twitter, says the company. According to earlier reports it’ll be a 6-inch phablet.
