Press shots of the Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-724, the company’s upcoming tablet with voice calling capabilities surfaced last month. Now the tablet has surfaced on GFXBench database that reveals the specifications of the tablet. According to the listing, the tablet has a 7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC with Adreno 306 GPU and Android 4.4.4 (KitKat).
It would come with a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Other details revealed in the benchmarks include, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and the usual set of connectivity features such as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It has single SIM card slot for data and voice calling capabilities, you can also see dual front-facing speakers from the image.
Acer unveiled the Iconia Tab 7 A1-713HD tablet with a 7-inch display and voice calling capabilities earlier this year, but that is powered by a quad-core MediaTek chip. The new Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-724 tablet is expected to be announced soon.
