Samsung introduced a new feature named ‘Flow’ at its annual developer conference here in San Francisco. The latest software from the South Korean giant takes on Apple’s Continuity feature that was released a couple of months ago.

Samsung Flow makes a lot of sense considering the fact that the company makes a lot of products, ranging from wearables to wide screen television. So, you can now start working on any of your Samsung devices and easily end it on another.

If you haven’t got it yet, the Samsung Flow basically allows you to move your tasks from one device to another and guess what? You can even view incoming calls and messages on your Samsung televisions – isn’t that cool?

The functionality of Samsung Flow revolves around three components – transfer, defer and notify. With the first option you can read shared articles on your tablets or movie video calls from your laptops to phones or tablets.

The Defer component offers you to put off your task until you are actually ready. For example, if you are on the go, you can complete your work once you reach your destination or you can start watching a movie once you are in a subway.

Lastly, notify as the name suggests will you let you view notifications on any screen – your watch, phone, notebook or even TV.

Samsung released its Flow SDK for the developers today, so it’s obviously going to take some time before you can use the feature on your Galaxy smartphones or tablets.
