The Galaxy Mega 2 has a removable 2,800 mAh Lithium Ion battery, which is slightly smaller compared to 3200 mAh battery on last year’s Galaxy Mega 6.3. It has a 6-inch HD screen and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU. Let us check out the battery test results.

It lasted for 25 hours in our talk time test and is on-par with the Lenovo S860 that has a 4000mAh battery. Samsung has optimized the battery to great extent for talk time.
3G Browsing
In our 3G browsing test, the Galaxy Mega 2 lasted for 5 hours and 15 minutes. This might be different in the 4G variant of the smartphone.
Wi-Fi Browsing
It lasted for 6 hours and 15 minutes in our WiFi browsing test.
Video Playback
Finally, in our video playback test, the Mega 2 lasted for 9 hours and 5 minutes, better than most smartphones.
