Samsung Gear S (SM-R750) based on Tizen Wearable platform went on sale in India earlier this month priced at Rs. 27,900. We brought you the unboxing of the smartwatch recently. Here we have the photo gallery.
The Gear S has a 2-inch (360 x 480 pixels) curved Super AMOLED display, comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor and enables you to independently make and receive calls, without connecting to a device and also offers 3G support. It can also connect to the Android smartphones using Bluetooth 4.1 LE.
It is IP67 Certified for dust and water resistance and has Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Ambient Light sensor, UV sensor and even Barometer. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It can measure fitness and even has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and A-GPS/ GLONASS support.
It has Samsung’s signature home button below the display and the ambient light sensor is present next to it.
It comes in Blue Black and White colors and has changeable straps.
It has a 300mAh Li-ion battery that promises up to 2 days of battery life. There is a SIM card slot, Heart Rate sensor and charging pins on the back. Since it has Qualcomm radios for 3G connectivity, it has Qualcomm HSPA+ sticker on the back.
