OnePlus has announced that it will provide full warranty coverage to all existing OnePlus One users in India. OnePlus, India Head, Vikas Agarwal has announced on OnePlus Forum that Indian users who have bought global variant of OnePlus One, can avail full warranty in India.
It must be noted that only the global variant of the OnePlus One will get the warranty coverage and not the Chinese variant. The move to cover its Indian users is pretty evident hint that the maker will soon officially start to sell its sole smartphone in the local market. Until now it has been stated that the OnePlus One will hit Indian markets by end of this year.
“The ardent support of our fans in India has played a big role in enabling us to prepare for India so quickly. Your belief in our product, our mission and the brand has been integral to the growth of OnePlus.”
added Agarwal in the post on the company forum.
Last month OnePlus revealed that OnePlus One will be sold in India only via specific invites in the country and not through a pre-order system. Meanwhile, the second pre-order for the OnePlus One is scheduled today.
