Samsung has launched a new service that allows users to share videos easily. Dubbed as Milk Video, the service is an expansion of the Milk Music service that was rolled out by Samsung earlier this year in March.
Milk video will aggregate variety of sources, including YouTube, Conde Nast, Vevo, Vice, CollegeHumor, BuzzFeed and AwesomenessTV and presents them to users in an endless stream. The app will learn from user’s usage and recommend videos, people and brands to follow. Users cannot add a video they like to the app.
The app gets a “Following” feed that features videos from brands and content makers liked by a user and they can browse categories such as gaming, comedy and technology. Users will need to sign in with Facebook or another account if they want to follow other users and share videos.
Milk Video is exclusive to Samsung Galaxy devices(Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S3 mini and Galaxy S5) and available only to users in the U.S. The app is now live in the Google Play Store.
