Google acquires iOS app prototyping software RelativeWave

Google has acquired iOS app prototyping company RelativeWave for an undisclosed sum. RelativeWave is the company behind the mobile app prototyping software Form.

“We’ve just scratched the surface with prototyping. With the help of Google, we’ll be focused on improving the state of design and development tools”.

posted RetaltiveWave on a company blog.

As  a result of the acquisition, RelativeWave is making its flagship Mac app free which earlier costed $79. The Form app allows designers and developers to create rich interactive app prototypes for iOS that runs on Apple devices and have full access to the camera and other sensors. Developers can run prototypes on multiple devices in real-time and update compositions instantly as they work.

Currently, Form Viewer is supported on iOS only however, RelativeWave suggests that users “stay tuned” for the app’s availability on other platforms.
