Meizu announced MX4 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone recently after several rumors. It has a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1536) IPS display with 546 ppi pixel density, more than Quad HD or 2K resolution. It uses NEGA negative LCD panel with LED backlight that promises better quality images and less battery consumption. It is powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5430 processor (ARM cortex®-A15 2.0GHz x 4 + Cortex A7 1.5GHz x 4) and runs on Flyme OS 4.1.
It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 1/2.3″ Sony IMX 220 Exmor RS sensor, pixel size of 1.2 microns and 4K video recording, similar to the Meizu MX4 that was introduced back in September. It has a fingerprint sensor under the home button that supports single-touch fingerprint recognition. It has ES9018 Audio DAC, Texas Instruments OPA1612 operational amplifier and a passive filter for crystal clear audio. Meizu is calling this Retina Sound.
It also has a eS704 audio chip supports wake up using specific keyword when the device is in sleep mode to wake it up and activate the voice assistant.
