AirDroid 3, the popular web based management app has released its latest version that is live for beta testing. The recent update also brings new settings and features.
AirDroid 2 web management tool allowed users to access their android device for users to access their Android device for files, contacts, photos and other functions from any browser with a login system. However, the version 3 comes with the standalone desktop manager which can be used for Windows and OS X platforms.
The desktop client has a different user interface than the virtual desktop. It can also display a low frame rate video feed in your phone’s screen and also have the ability to take the screencaptures after the prior root permissions. AirDroid 3’s Android and desktop clients can be downloaded here.
