Samsung unveiled the the Galaxy Note Edge smartphone along with the Galaxy Note 4 smartphone at the IFA back in September. It comes with a 5.6-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display that bends on the right side that utilizes 160 pixels. We already brought you the hands-on impressions and photo gallery of the smartphone from the IFA. We managed to get the smartphone from Singapore since it is not available in India yet. Extra screen on the right edge gives you access to frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality even when the cover is closed with the swipe of a thumb. Since there is a screen on the right side, the power button has been moved to the top, which might be hard to reach for single-handed usage. All the other buttons and the slots are similar to the Galaxy Note 4.
Apart from the screen and the battery capacity, it has similar specifications as the Note 4 that includes a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB internal memory, expandable memory with microSD, Android 4.4 (KitKat), fingerprint scanner on the home button, heart rate sensor on the back, 16MP rear camera with LED Flash, OIS, Ultra HD video recording and a 3.7MP front-facing camera.
