Gionee launched the Elife S5.1, the company’s thinnest smartphone in India last month for Rs. 18,999. We brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the smartphone recently, here we have the battery test results. The Elife S5.1 has a 2100mAh built-in battery. It has a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor. Check out the battery test results below.

3G Browsing
In our 3G browsing tets, the Elife S5.1 lasted for 3 hours and 42 minutes.
WiFi Browsing
It lasted for 4 hours and 10 minutes in our WiFi browsing test.
Video Playback
Finally, in our video playback test, the Elife S5.1 smartphone lasted for 6 hours and 15 minutes, which is not the best.
Overall, the Gionee Elife S5.1 smartphone lasted for 9 hours and 39 minutes in our battery test. As you can see from the pie chart, even though the smartphone’s talk time is good, other things such as browsing and video playback are not impressive.
