Micromax’s YU launched the YU YUREKA (AO5510) smartphone running Cyanogen OS last month for Rs. 8,999. We already brought you the hands on impressions from the launch event last month, here we have the unboxing.

As we said in our hands-on, the smartphone has solid build quality. The removable back cover has smooth finish. Even though it runs on CyanogenMod OS 11 based on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), the company has promised to update the smartphone to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and offer OTA updates every month. It has 4G support, including support for 4G LTE bands (TDD-LTE B40 2300MHz and FDD-LTE B3 1800MHz) for India.
