Seagate has launched 500GB Wireless Hard Drive ahead of CES 2015. The on the go storage device has a built-in power supply and a Wi-Fi radio for accessing files on the go.
The wireless hard drive is “designed for streaming and offloading media from mobile devices”. Available in five bright colors -lime green, cool blue, slate gray, fire-engine red, and white, the hard drive can connect upto 3 devices simultaneously. It offers a nine hour battery life and the ability to store media like photos and videos.

The wireless hard drive allows users to stream their favourite HD video content using Seagate Media app for Apple iOS, Android, Kindle Fire HD, Windows 8 tablets. It can also be used to access content on big screen using Apple Airplay, Chromecast and Roku. The Seagate wireless hard drive will be available this month for $129.99 from the Seagate website and through retailers like Amazon and Best Buy.
