Oppo launched the Oppo R5 (R8106), the company’s slimmest smartphone in India last month for Rs. 29,990. We already brought you the photo gallery of the smartphone from the announcement and the unboxing recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the Oppo R5. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.54 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores are clocked at 1.0 GHz per core. It has Adreno 405 GPU clocked at 550 MHz. It has 2GB DDR3 RAM, 5.2-inch 1080p screen and runs on Color OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It scored 794 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU Subsystem performance test and grabs the second spot, behind the Desire 820 that is powered by the same chip.
Linpack Single Thread
It managed to clock around 132.4 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It managed to clock 301.19 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It managed to clock 54.9 fps in the NenaMark 2 benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It clocked around 7.29 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
It topped the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark by clocking around 6.6fps, slightly better than the HTC Desire 820.
Basemark OS II
It scored 760 points in the Basemark OS II and grabs the second spot, behind YU YUREKA.
