ASUS has launched the Fonepad 8 (FE380CG), the company’s latest tablet in the Fonepad series with dual SIM support, 3G and voice calling capabilities. It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with 5.06mm narrow bezel bezel and a screen-to-body ratio of 72.2%, is powered by a 1.33 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with PowerVR Series 6 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Zen UI. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has Dual front speakers with SonicMaster technology and MaxxAudio for an enhanced audio experience. The variant launching in India has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot.
