Samsung launched the Samsung Z1 Tizen OS smartphone in India earlier this week for Rs. 5,700. We already brought you the hands-on impressions and unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks.
The Samsung Z1 has a 4-inch WVGA (800×480) PLS display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor with Mali 400 GPU, 768MB RAM and rung on Tizen OS 2.3.
It has a VGA front-facing camera and an earpiece above the display. It also has Duos branding on the top. It doesn’t have a proximity or ambient light sensor.
It has Samsung’s signature home button with a chrome ring around it and capacitive touch buttons on either sides, below the display.
It comes in Wine Red color with gold finish on the sides. It has a power button on the right and it is 9.7mm thick.
The volume rockers are present on the left side.
There is a 3.5mm audio jack on top.
The micro USB slot and a primary microphone are present on the bottom.
On the back there is a 3.1-megapixel camera with LED Flash
Even though the back cover is made of plastic, it has smooth finish and is not glossy like the other entry-level Galaxy smartphones.
Under the back cover there is a 1500mAh removable battery. You can see the microSD card slot below the flash. It has 4GB of internal storage.
