It runs on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) out of the box. There is a 5MP front-facing camera as well, again similar in other A series and E series smartphones.
It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has a uni-body design, so the back cover is not removable. The smartphone is 7.3mm thick, slightly thicker than the 6.9mm A Series. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory that is expandable up to 64GB with microSD. Another highlight is the hybrid dual SIM feature that lets the secondary slot be used as a SIM or microSD slot when required. Unlike the Galax A5, the Galaxy E7 doesn’t have 4G support. It has a 2900mAh built-in battery.
