SwiftKey keyboard is now available in Chinese language. The popular third party keyboard was conducting a beta test with Chinese-speaking users for quite some time.
SwiftKey had introduced Chinese language support for its keyboard in beta on Android in November. The keyboard app is giving it users seven input options such as Simplified Chinese, Tiawan traditional Chinese, and Hong Kong Traditional Chinese input options. Simplified Chinese SwiftKey now supports the QWERTY Pinyin input method as well as the stroke and 12-key Pinyin input methods. For Taiwan Traditional Chinese users there is support for full key Zhuyin, 12-key Zhuyin and stroke input methods. Finally, Hong Kong Traditional Chinese input options includes Cangjie input method, Quick Cangjie input method and Stroke input method.
This update, version 5.2, also adds support for the languages of Khmer and Lao. SwiftKey retains its ability to make smarter auto-corrections based on how you type and still makes faster predictions. Along with language support, SwiftKey has a new theme to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
