Samsung launched the Galaxy E7 smartphone in the E series in India last month for Rs. 23,000. We brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone recently, here we have the benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz, similar to other A and E series smartphones. It has a 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Let’s find out the performance of the smartphone in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

It scored 12256 points and grabs the top spot.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4
It scored 20995 points and grabs the second spot behind the Mega 2 in the AnTuTu 4 benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
It managed to score 1640 points in the HTML5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
It topped the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test by scoring 730 points.
Linpack Single Thread
It managed to score around 113.1 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It managed to clock around 250.2 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It clocked 54.6fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocked 9.6fps, similar to other Snapdragon 410-powered smartphones.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It clocked around 6.29fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
It clocked around 2.76fps in the Basemark X 1.0 Offscreen benchmark.
Basemark OS II
It topped the Basemark OS II benchmark by scoring 589 points. These are just synthetic benchmark scores and the real life performance might be different. We will let you know all about that in the complete review soon.
