Samsung launched the Galaxy E5 smartphone in the E series in India last month for Rs. 19,300. We brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone recently, here we have the benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz, similar to other A and E series smartphones. It has 1.5GB RAM, 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Let’s check out the performance of the smartphone in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

Quadrant Benchmark
It scored 12214 points in the Quadrant benchmark and lies bending the Galaxy E7 and A5.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4
It scored 20815 points in the AnTuTu Benchmark 4 and grabs the fourth spot, behind other Samsung smartphones powered by the same Snapdragon 410 SoC.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
It scored 1671 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
It scored 723 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test and grabs the second spot.
Linpack Single Thread
It managed to clock around 110.45 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It managed to clock around 228.85 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It clocked 54.3fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocked 9.4 fps, behind other Samsung smartphones in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It clocked around 6.3fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
In the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen the Galaxy E5 clocked around 2.7fps.
Basemark OS II
It scored 581 points in the Basemark OS II benchmark and grabs the second spot, behind the Galaxy E7.
