Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with dual curved edge screen surfaces

As Samsung’s March 1st Unpacked 2015 event gets closer several leaks regarding the upcoming Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have started flowing. CNET Korea have got hold of images of both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Edge smartphones with and without cases. We had seen several leaks of the Galaxy S6 earlier from the case markers and the design schematics that were leaked recently revealed that the Galaxy S6 would be just 6.91mm thin.

The new leak also reveals the Galaxy S6 Edge’s curved edge screen that is curved on both the sides that was already rumored. The rear camera with LED flash and the heart rate sensor are clearly visible in both the smartphones. According to these images both the smartphones might come with metal build, similar to the Galaxy A series, however the sides and edges are curved compared to sharp edges on the A series smartphones.

According to earlier rumors the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge are rumored to come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD displays, Snapdragon 810/Exynos 7420 chipset, 20MP rear camera and a Touch based finger print scanner on the home button.

We should wait till the announcement to find out if Samsung plans to bring metallic unibody design to its flagship devices as well, since all its Galaxy S series smartphones had a removable back cover and a battery. What do you prefer? Removable plastic back cover with removable battery and a metal frame like the Galaxy Alpha or unibody metal build like the Galaxy A series? Let us know in the comments.
