Samsung launched the Galaxy A3 smartphone with all-metal body in India for Rs. 20,500 along with the Galaxy A5 last month. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and has Adreno 306 GPU, similar to the Galaxy A5. It has 1GB RAM, 4.5-inch qHD display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Let’s find out it in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

It scored 730 points in Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.
Linpack Single Thread
It managed to clock around 105.71 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It managed to clock around 230.7 MFLOPS behind both the Galaxy E series smartphones.
NenaMark 2
It clocked at 59.2 fps and lies behind the Zenfone 5 in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark, mainly due its small low-resolution screen.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocked 13fps and topped the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It topped the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark by clocking around 10.33fps.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
It managed to clock around 2.7fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark.
